AFTER PROBATION WE CAN “ERASE” YOUR CONVICTION FROM YOUR RECORD
Your misdemeanor DUI can be “erased” from your record for all practical purposes once your probation is done. The legal process in California is known as “expungement” and it will be as though your DUI was dismissed. You will legally be able to say you do not have a DUI.
While “expungement” will remove your DUI from your record, your DUI will still be “visible” and count as a “prior DUI” if you are charged for DUI again within 10 years and it will still be “visible” to government agencies like immigration and if you were to say, apply for a government job. To the private sector, however, your DUI will have been erased from your record and no longer appear on searches of your criminal record.
Our firm has done dozens of expungements. What’s more, expungements can be done on any of your non-violent prior crimes in order to clean up your record. If you would like more information on how we can clean up your criminal record, call us now!
